Bath Time FAQs
Are your bath time products safe?
Our bath time products are some of the most tested & safe products on the market. All products conform to EN71 testing and cosmetics testing in the UK. You can view the test certificates here.
Do your products stain?
No - they will not stain your bath, skin, clothes or carpet; providing that instructions are followed correctly. We advise never to have direct skin to powder contact. By following the instructions and gently sprinkling the powder straight from the bag into the water there should not be any situation were skin becomes stained.
Would they be harmful if eaten?
Similar to shampoo or soap, our bath time products do not taste particularly nice, but won’t do any harm if accidentally consumed.
Does Gelli Baff have an expiry date?
Gelli Baff doesn’t 'go off' but has an official shelf life of 3 years.
How long will a Gelli Baff mixture last before it breaks down?
Gelli Baff is perfectly safe to use for weeks! As part of the UK cosmetic testing regulations, it has passed a 'mould free stand test' over a 30 day period.
What is the difference between Gelli Baff & Glibbi?
In Germany, Spain, Italy etc The Zimpli Kids range is sold under the trading name Glibbi. All Glibbi products have an identical English trading name.
What are the effects of Gelli Baff on my drainage system?
Gelli Baff, being both a toy and cosmetic product, has passed through stringent testing and exceeded all safety requirements in Europe, the US & many other countries worldwide, along with all our other bath time ranges. Our bath products are degradable and will not cause any harm to your drains. However, if there are or have been existing problems with your drainage system ie a re-occurring blockage or very slow draining water then we do advise to dispose of the Gelli Baff down a toiler or drain.
What dissolves Gelli Baff?
The dissolver powder included is ordinary table salt, so if for any reason you need to dilute the Gelli Baff further, just add more salt. Occasionally at the end of a Gelli Baff you may have a tiny amount of beads left, if so, simply scoop them up using a cup & flush down the toilet.
No dissolver powder is needed for Slime Baff - just dilute with plenty of water!
Can your bath time products be used in hot tubs?
Yes - but we do not recommend switching on the pumps that rotate water as most pumps have filters which will be too sensitive for Gelli Baff and Slime Baff.
Chocolate Picture Maker FAQs
Where is Chocolate Picture Maker manufactured?
Chocolate Picture Maker is proudly manufactured in the UK.
Do I heat the chocolate?
Yes, you melt the chocolate using just warm tap water. You don't need to use anything else other than a bowl of warm water that you put the sachets of chocolate into.
How long does the chocolate take to melt?
The chocolate will be fully melted after a few minutes - melt the dark chocolate first as this is what you will use for the outline of your drawing. Whilst you're drawing your outline, put the milk and white chocolate in the warm water. By the time you have finished your outline, the chocolate should have melted.
What should I do if my melted chocolate still has lumps in it?
Use your fingers to break the lumps up, as this helps to melt the chocolate. If this does not work, raise the temperature of the water slightly.
Is the chocolate still okay to use if it has melted and set again before use?
Yes. The melting process won't affect the quality, taste or condition of the chocolate.
How long will my chocolate bar take to set?
When you're finished making your chocolate bar, place it in the fridge for 20 minutes and then enjoy!
How long will my chocolate bar last?
Your chocolate bar will react to heat just like a normal chocolate bar would. If leaving for extended periods of time, we recommend leaving it in the fridge.
What can I draw?
You can draw anything you want to! You can make a freehand design, print a picture you want to use, or use one of the templates provided. Remember! If your design includes a message, print your picture as a mirror image, as this will ensure your message is the correct way round on the chocolate bar!
How much chocolate do I need to use for one picture?
The amount of dark and white chocolate you need will depend on your design. Once you have drawn your outline in dark chocolate, use the white chocolate to fill in your character/message/drawing. Only use a thin layer of white chocolate so it does not go out of the dark chocolate outline. You can then cover the whole of your picture with the milk chocolate to create the bar. The bags of chocolate (1 x dark chocolate, 1 x white chocolate, 1 x milk chocolate) included in the pack will provide enough chocolate for one chocolate bar.
